The BUCKHORN FARM BUNGALOW is located on a ten-acre farm near the north shore of Orcas Island. This family vacation cottage enjoys a wonderful country-farm atmosphere but is only 5 minutes away from the village of Eastsound, our island's version of “downtown.” Guests can easily walk or ride bicycles along level roads to restaurants, shops or to the nearby semi-private beach to enjoy beach strolls, tide-pooling and spectacular views from Mt. Baker to Vancouver Island.

Nearby Activities

Nature lovers will appreciate watching the deer which frequently wander through the property, as well as bald eagles, and other wildlife. Island activities include hiking and swimming at Moran State Park, kayaking, biking, whale watching, golf, horseback riding and fishing. Mount Constitution, the highest point in the San Juan Islands, offers spectacular views from its summit.

For those looking for a more relaxing stay, Buckhorn Farm is a great place to hang out, enjoy the quiet, wander through the beautiful gardens, or take the short walk to the nearby beach. A tour of the local galleries, shops and restaurants starts just minutes away in the village of Eastsound, but the island is known for wonderful spots in hidden corners of the island.

Current Rates

Summer: June—September
$150 per night, plus tax (double occupancy)
Additional guests are $10 each.

Winter: October—May
$125 per night, plus tax (double occupancy)
Additional guests are $10 each.

Deposit

Full deposit is due in advance for rentals less than one week in length. For one week or longer stays, 50% of total is due in advance; balance due on arrival.

Advance reservations are highly recommended as our Bungalow is often booked weeks in advance, especially on weekends and any time in the summer. If you wish to make a reservation, call us and we'll pencil you in the book and immediately send you a rental agreement specifying the dates and total amount due. Reservations not secured by a credit card are considered tentative and are confirmed upon our receipt of your deposit. There is a two night minimum, though one night reservations are available at an increased rate.
